Birth and Postpartum Services

Private Birth Education: Two 2 hour sessions $250



This includes the following but can be tailored to your needs:

  • Discovering and Alleviating Fears Surrounding Labor and Birth

  • Navigating Care with your Provider

Birth Doula Support: $1500

 

I am honored to share your birth space with you. Whether you are birthing your baby in a hospital, free-standing birth center or at your home, I will be with you every step of the way of this empowering experience. Services include:

​

  • 2 postpartum visits. The first visit is helping prepare a birth plan, understanding the stages of labor, comfort measures and spending time getting acquainted. The second is focused on postpartum and breastfeeding. These visits are tailored to each family.

  • 24/7 phone and email support starting at the point of hire.

  • Constant labor support when you are ready 

  • Birth Support

  • I will stay 1-2 hours after your baby is born to help with postpartum and breastfeeding

  • 1 postpartum visit at your home 5-7 days after delivery. This is a wonderful time to talk about your birth and all of the details that we all remember! I can also assist with breastfeeding if needed.

A $500 down payment is required at the time of hire to secure your birth on my calendar. The rest of the fee is due at your second prenatal visit.

Placenta Encapsulation: $225 for Raw / $250 for TCM

 

I perform two methods of encapsulation: raw or Traditional Chinese Method (TCM). Each method takes 24-36 hours to complete. The raw method consists of dehydrating your placenta and encapsulating it. It yields the most amount of capsules and holds the most nutrients. For those following an ayurvedic diet, the TCM method involves steaming the placenta first, then dehydrating and encapsulating. I will deliver your capsules to you and soon as they are finished. Payment is due at that time. $50 discount on encapsulation for doula clients.
